  Plans call for a new storage facility that will contain a concession stand and restrooms. Other improvements include a community plaza, space for performances or a movie night; a picnic area with “shade components,” bocce, shuffleboard and an area with outdoor exercise equipment. Low retaining walls will be added, for seating or buffers defining the space. The Provincetown Recreation Commission, in collaboration with consulting firm Weston and Sampson, presented a preferred design concept for Motta Field at a community meeting on May 3.
